I consider myself a very social person: I jump at opportunities to meet and get to know people, and I’ve often done so when trying some activity for the first time or learning a new skill. I met some of my best friends while searching for lost arrows after an outdoor archery practice and bonded with others while studying French or German or cultivating and cooking with rare herbs. I love late-night talks about everything from Wittgenstein to the newest QI tools to sports and silly songs and am always, always willing to fence, golf, hike or stargaze with others.
